Shooting Hoops at the SSC
As I was helping out with the Hallyu Shooting Stars Event this past weekend, I got the opportunity to go onto the basketball court and shoot a few hoops. It was pretty cool. The rims looked shorter than normal for some reason and they were kinda soft. Plus, from some angles, the arena lights are directly in your eyesight as you look at the basket. It makes you wonder how the guys who play there can even see the basket from those angles. All in all, a pretty cool opportunity.

Wow, coolness. Soft rims? A good thing!
Lights in your eyes? When you're Wayne's World, you just need a split second glimpse at the rim then you launch. No need to see the rim for very long. After swishing the three ball, you also need to back pedal down the court holding your shooting hand in its released position muttering, "Man, that was sweet!"
