Shooting Stars Event
As you may have seen on the news, there was a Korean celebrity basketball event this past weekend at the Stan Sheriff Center. It pitted Korean drama stars against local bball teams. My best guess would be that about 2,500 - 3,00 people showed up and they all seemed like they had a good time.
The halftime performer was a Korean singer named Chae Yeon. Who is Chae Yeon? Well....she's Korea's top female solo artist and is known for her dance songs as well as being sexy and cute on TV appearances.
Without going into too much detail, I had the pleasure of spending some time with her during her stay in Hawaii. She was great. I was already a big fan of hers before I met her and am even a bigger fan now. It was really weird the other day when I spent the day with her, then went home to watch my weekly X-Men game show (which she appears on) and seeing her on my TV. It was kinda surreal.
I was debating whether or not to post pics on this blog for several reasons....but you know what? Why not, right? There's already tons of photos of her on the net anyway. I don't think too many people read this blog anyways so I'll share just a few. Just a real small taste. Hope you like them!
