Waipahu Plantation Village Korea House Clean Up

KAC-Hawaii had a clean up project of the Korea House at the Waipahu Plantation Village this past weekend. Luckily, the tree in the backyard that dropped tons of leaves last year was bare this time so the lawn didn't require much work. We just did some basic yard cleanup, trimmed the trees of their dead branches, and weeded the garden boxes. The garden boxes are also bare so our next project will be to plant some vegetables in them. Perhaps stuff like chili peppers, herbs, etc.KAC-Hawaii's next community service event will be assisting in the Korean War Memorial Service on June 25th at Punchbowl Cemetary. Contact me if you're interested in helping out!
