Canadian School Punishes for Eating like a Filipino

This is just so stupid. A young Filipino boy in Montreal was punished at school for eating in the customary Filipino style of pushing one's food with a fork onto a spoon and then using the spoon to put the food in the mouth.

The lunch monitor who punished him told his mother "If your son is eats like a pig he has to go to another table because this is the way we do it" and the principal of the school even told the mother "Madame, you are in Canada. Here in Canada you should eat the way Canadians eat."

Geez, it's not like he was using his hands or anything. He's actually using utensils! WTF!

Ignorance. Gotta hate it.
