No School or Work Cuz of Soccer? 설마!

Since Korea's next soccer match against France will take place at 4AM Korean time, a lot of companies and schools are allowing people to come in late after the soccer match. Isn't that awesome?

According to this Chosun Ilbo article, some companies and schools are shutting down completely for the day. And I just received and email from a friend in Korea saying that her company will let them come to work at 11AM. How cool is that? Can you imagine that over here?

"Hey boss, the NCAA playoffs are on today so we're all gonna come in for half a day."

Never happen.
