Getting There....Slowly.....

The final obstacle for me to get the 2 singers here for the Korean Festival is slowly coming to an end. I need to get all 6 passengers (2 singers and 4 staff members) on the same flights between Korea and Hawaii on Japan Airlines. The stars are confirmed so I'm not worried about them.

But as of last Friday, the 4 staff members were all on waitlist. There are 4 flight segments total in the itinerary (Kor-Japan, Japan-Hawaii, Hawaii-Japan, Japan-Korea) and they weren't confirmed for any as of last week. But when I called to get an update today, I learned that 1 person was confirmed for 3/4 legs and the other 3 were confirmed for 2/4 legs. Not quite where I want to be yet, but at least it's progress from a few days ago! Hopefully, the confirmations all around will be soon forthcoming and I can relax about this situation.

But let me tell ya....dealing with their manager has been pretty grueling. At times he has been unresponsive and at others, he continually changes the conditions of the agreement. To be honest, it hasn't been as bad as it sounds but every little change is that much more of a headache to endure.

Let's hope all arrangements get settled in the following week and they put on an awesome show for all who attend.
