Warner Bros. just announced today that starting in May this year, they will be releasing their hi-def movies exclusively on the Blu-Ray format, joining Fox, Sony, and Disney studios.

yup, if you haven't started your hi-def movie collection yet, i'd have to admit that you're probably better off going blu-ray at this point. sigh!

Don't know what happened but Blu-ray's making a strong push. This week's Circuit City and Best Buy ads has some good deals when getting a Blu-ray player. Get 10 free movies. If you buy a HDTV and certain Blu-ray players, you essentially get the cost of the player back.

30 hd-dvds huh. I have over 170 so you can imagine how I feel. I see Ebay and Amazon.com Market Place being flooded with people selling there whole collections and Hd-dvd players. One guy from dvd talk sold 43 hd-dvds at once and got just over $8 each for them.

I will keep mine I hope Toshiba or some other company will bring out a cheap combo hd-dvd & blu-ray player.
