What the Hell?

This is just so disturbing. The city of Kumamoto in Japan has opened up a "baby hatch" where people can just dump off unwanted babies anonymously. I guess I can see the motive behind it - decrease in abortion rate, saving baby lives, etc. but this method just seems so wrong. It's almost like it's encouraging irresponsible behavior. "Got an unwanted baby? No problem! Just drop it off in our hatch and no more worries for you! You can go back to partying and have more babies!"

Ugh.
